Dale Slings
Senior Pastor
Pastor Dale has served as the Senior Pastor at Westwood since 1999. Dale has been teaching the Word of God for over 25 years. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word and making it relevant for those living in our world today. Born and raised in Iowa, Dale has studied and received a Bachelors degree from Dordt College and a Masters of Divinity from Calvin Theological Seminary. Dale has served as pastor in Dallas, Texas and Byron Center, Michigan before moving to Kalamazoo. He has been married to Gloria for over 40 years. They have three daughters, all whom are married, and several grandchildren. Dale enjoys wood working, gardening and camping.
Favorite verse: Philippians 3:10-11 “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.”
